• Account and access data such as email address, display name, browser sessions, authentication events, and agent authorizations.
• Inbox content such as questions, answer choices, replies, uploaded files and their metadata, timestamps, and delivery status.
• Browser push subscription endpoints and keys when you enable notifications; daily question counts and uploaded byte totals to enforce usage limits.
• Technical information such as IP address, timestamp, request path, browser or user agent, status code, and error messages for service operation and security.
• We do not sell personal data.

• Provide the ASKTOOL inbox, sign-in, agent connections, question and answer exchange, file sharing, and optional browser notifications.
• Maintain sessions, enforce access permissions and usage limits, prevent abuse, and diagnose service failures.
• Legal basis: performance of a contract for providing the service; legitimate interests for security and reliability; consent where required for optional features and analytics.

• We use Umami Cloud to understand page usage, including visits to settings pages. Analytics include page paths and titles, referring pages, browser language, screen size, and browser or device information. Analytics requests expose connection information, including your IP address, to the provider.
• We exclude query strings and URL fragments from tracked page URLs. We do not intentionally send inbox contents, uploaded files, form contents, account identifiers, or agent credentials to analytics, and we do not enable session replay or user identification.

• Your account and rolling inbox persist while you use the service. Questions and shared files expire after up to 30 days. Unattached uploads expire after 24 hours.
• You can revoke agent connections and delete your inbox in Settings, or contact us to request account deletion. Inbox deletion revokes access immediately; stored content is removed through asynchronous cleanup.
• Revoking an agent does not delete copies it has already received. Operational logs, backups, or records needed for security, legal compliance, or service integrity may persist separately from inbox content.

• Cloudflare provides hosting, databases, file storage, queues, and related infrastructure. Resend delivers email sign-in links. Umami Cloud processes usage analytics.
• Your browser’s push provider processes notification delivery when you enable browser notifications. Notification previews may be visible on your device or lock screen according to your device settings.
• Authorized agents receive questions, replies, and files within their granted permissions. Their providers handle received data under their own policies.
• Stripe processes payments and payment-method information. We receive customer, invoice, payment status, and subscription records needed to manage your plan and retain billing records as needed for accounting and legal obligations.
• We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the public, or the service.

• As a US company, data may be processed in the USA and other regions where our infrastructure or providers operate.
• For EU and UK users, transfers may rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary technical and organizational measures where applicable.

• We use cookies for authentication and maintaining access to your inbox.
• We use browser storage for preferences such as theme and may remember a legacy private agent connection URL in your browser. Treat your browser profile and private connection links as sensitive.
• We do not use third-party advertising cookies in the ASKTOOL app.

• We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect data against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. Traffic is encrypted via TLS.
• Please secure your email inbox, devices, browser sessions, and agent credentials. No system can guarantee absolute security.

• Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or export personal data, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
• You can revoke agent authorizations in Settings and disable browser notifications in ASKTOOL or your browser. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting prior lawful processing.
